One of the adoptive parents talked with Chris again yesterday evening. The latest is that they are doing good. The Convoy of hope water filter has been a great blessing. The tents are supposed to be there today sometime and that will be good as well.
Sendy is being evacuated out on Monday to Orlando. Chris is needing someone to start working on trying to find someone to go get her on Tuesday at the host family that will keep her Monday night and get her to Lima OH. There is a host family in lima that will be keeping her. We will get ahold of Children's Medical Missions in the morning as they are assisting in this and see if they can help on getting this accomplished. If anyone has any ideas or can help out let us know. Chris will be texting me or someone in the family the host family in Orlando name and phone number so we can reach them. By the way she said that the plane evacuating her out was one donated by Jeff Gordon, thought that was kind of cool even though I am not much of a nascar fan:)
I talked with Chris about all the things we are hearing regarding Humanitarian aid and evacuations and asked her if there was anything that we should be doing on our end to help out. She said to post that we all should be writing our congressmen and senators about the situation down in Haiti and the Orphanage. This will not guarantee anything but in these times this will definitely help. WE NEED TO GET THE WORD OUT!

If you haven't already done so, please contact your senators and representatives about getting the children out of Haiti. Please ask them to support any decision granting humanitarian parole to all children who are in the adoption process and refugee status to all other children. I think I saw a statistic that the population of Haiti is around 40% children aged 15 and under. With 3 million people in Port-au-Prince, many who are now homeless and hungry, that works out to about 380,000. Of those, I think they were saying there were around 10,000 children orphaned or abandoned before the earthquake. I can only imagine what the number is now! And he orphanages were full before...now many of them are gone and now need to care for many more orphaned or displaced childre.

Craig is thinking about going to Haiti on Saturday with another mission team. He is praying about whether going is the right thing right now. He would try to get to Joshua, but there would be no guarantee. He would be able to get cash to Hal and Chris, which is what they need badly. Please join us in praying for wisdom for the decision of whether he should go now or wait.

I am assisting in the organization of the trip Saturday and future trips with Nehemiah Vision Ministries. I will be making phone calls and arranging flights with Missionary Flights International. The teams would be flying into Cap Haitian which is on the north side of the island as there are few flights being allowed to land in Port-au-Prince. Please pray that we can make the necessary arrangements for the team, and that the team will be able to get in on Saturday.

Princess N's coin wars at school starts tomorrow. We hope to get more businesses on board today and more support from the community. I am so proud of her!
Today is a new day. We pray that there is great news from the US goverment about getting our kids out. We pray that aid reaches those areas where it has not been received. We pray that all of those helping on the ground remain safe. We pray that relief comes in for those who have been working tirelessly since Tuesday evening to rescue people. We praise HIM for the continued strength to get through each day. We thank HIM for the sacrifices so many are making to help out Haiti. Most of all, we praise HIM for being who HE is - a God who is in control at all times and even through this tragedy, He is good and He will bring good in the midst of this storm.
