Mr. Jeffry Isaiah - being adopted by my dear friend, and holding an ever so special place in my heart.
Beautiful Sendy - I first met her when I met Joshua. Her mom brought her to HIS Home when she was 2. It was obvious then that she has hydrocephaly, water on the brain. About two weeks later, her mom brought her to HIS Home to hopefully get a much needed surgery, and hopefully an adoptive family. She was brought to the States last summer (2008) to receive the much-needed surgery. She did so great after the surgery. I even got to see her doing her therapy - standing, smiling, feeding herself. Her shunt recently became infected and had to be removed. The fluid is once again building on her brain and if a new surgery is not performed soon, she may endure more brain damage. There are simply no funds to get her the life-saving surgery she needs.
Hydrocephaly is a condition that is common in third world countries, where good prenatal care is often not available to mothers on the streets. Many children are sadly left to die. Since starting our adoption in 2006, we have met some hydrocephaly kids that were later taken home, to lie in the arms of Jesus.
This is Jonise. I met her for the first time in March of 2007, when we went to meet Jonathan David. She had just lost her mom in a flood and was grieving for her. She wouldn't eat. HIS Home took extra special care of this little on, bringing her back to physical health.

Someone donated clothes to HIS Home. This day we were helping hand out the clothes to the older girls.
These are the preschool kids lind up for school. The Boys' Home also houses the school for the older children. Without this house and the school, many of these kids would not be getting an education. All of the children wear t-shirts with the HIS Home logo on them. HIS Home relies on donations to purchase and print these shirts.
These three boys are a family group - not a sibling group since none of the three are biologically related. All three boys will be going to the same loving family here in the States. This day they are skyping their parents. Skype is one way HIS Home allows adoptive families to keep in touch with their children.
This is one of my favorite pictures - this is the first picture of the 4 sweet ones that will come to live in our state.
Who could say no to these big, brown eyes? NOT ME!!! My own Joshua Wood, who without the love and care of HIS Home, would probably be on the street. His own momma brought him to HIS Home in September of 2007 because she could no longer care for him. He was 10 weeks old.
