This is Sendy (with Santa, of course).
She needs your prayers. She has hydrocephalis, or water on the brain. A year ago she was brought to the States for shunt surgery, which was initially successful. However, about two months ago (give or take) her shunt failed, became infected, and had to be removed. About a month ago she had surgery in Haiti to place a new shunt, unsuccessfully.
Great news! She has been accepted here in the States for another surgery, by the same hospital that did the initial surgery. The orphanage has received all of the necessary paperwork and Sendy's mom has signed the power of attorney (an answered prayer in itself as they were unable to locate her initially).
Now Sendy needs an emergency VISA appointment with the embassy in Haiti. Would you please join me in praying that they get the VISA appointment so she can come to the states for her surgery? A friend of ours is scheduled to go to Haiti after Christmas to deliver a child who was here. She is desperately hoping that she can bring Sendy back with her.
No mountain is too big for God to move. D recently heard on the radio that God knows our mountains, knows he can move them. We need to stop asking God to move the mountains, and instead tell the mountain that God is bigger than it.
So, taking this to heart - VISA appointment mountain - My GOD is so much bigger than you!!! Why not make it easy on all of us - move out of HIS way so He doesn't have to move you!
Always hoping. Always praying. Always trusting. Always loving. Always.
