aftershock???

There was a 4.7 earthquake/aftershock both yesterday and today.  The kids left at HIS Home are all okay.  Hal said he has woken up twice to a yardful of kids as everyone runs outside when the earth starts shaking.

Please pray these would stop...it seems as though they have just kept going since the big one a month ago.

Please pray Chris - who is on her way to Haiti today - can get the medical kids out of Haiti and to the US for care.  This has all but stopped since UNICEF came in to "protect" the children.

Please pray they can get the other children who have adoptive parents to their parents here in the US.  My friend D still has one of hers there - a one-year old little girl.

Please pray that the process here for adopting and naturalizing our children goes smoothly.  Although the adoption in and of itself seems to be straight forward.  It appears that getting these kids naturalized will take at least two years - probably longer.

Still looking to Him for strength and comfort.  He never said this journey would be easy and it is not over yet.  We just moved from one roller coaster to another!  In all of this though, we have Joshua with us.  Whatever happens now, he is here with us and we'll deal with whatever is required...even if it means not being able to go outside the US for a while!  We obviously hope it will not take this long - or that they will have a different process for all of us Haitian adoptive parents.

Always hoping.  Always praying. Always believing.  Always trusting.  Always.
